Thanks so much! When recommending restaurants at Disney World, it is hard to include all of the good ones because there are SO many :)

A category you missed - Best for meat lovers

Of course the winner of that category is 'Ohana. At 'Ohana you can eat all the steak, pork, turkey and shrimp you can force down. Then there would be any of the great buffets that serve carved meats.

Something to think about.

For my family, no, it wasn't worth it. Unless you are a BIG eater, there is no way we would eat all the food that was given us. We ate breakfast at the hotel, a counter service lunch was split between mom and teenage daughter, dad had his own meal, toddler ate a pb&j I had stuck in my bag. Dinner was a sit down restaurant some days, some days we did another counter service. We were there to see and do, not eat. We are not really big eaters, we went in July so it was hot and we were not really interested in a lot of snacks. We ate for a lot less than the meal plan cost.

It depends on how you are planning on eating. If you are staying on Disney property and plan to eat every meal at Disney, then it will most likely be worth it for you UNLESS you are planning to eat counter-service only. If you are trying to save money, you can do better than the plan by eating counter-service restaurants instead of sit-down. But if you do want to enjoy a sit-down meal, then you can do a lot better on the plan. For ultimate food savings, you can rent a house or villa with full-size kitchen and go grocery shopping. Eat breakfast and dinner at your house, and only lunch at Disney.

Remember if you do get the dining plan, you will need advance reservations for all sit-down meals, or you won't get in.

It is definatly a great deal, my family went for a week in may and we ended up saving 400 dollars! I highly recomend it, the restaurants are amazing and youre free to order anything from the menu!the staff is very aware of it so you don't have to constantly bring it up.
So yes you should get it.

it IS worth it especially if you want to go to table service (sit down) restaurants.
you have to realize that for a table service restaurant you will spend between $20-$50 per person depending on which restaurant you go to.
and quick service (fastfood) restaurants will run you about $10 per person.
and snacks cost between $2.50-$4.50 each depending on what you get.
